AfterCorp privacy policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This policy covers AfterCorp — Routine Inspection by SXP Studio on Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. It supplements the SXP Studio privacy policy, which provides more details about our general privacy practices and support requests.
AfterCorp does not send your gameplay or spatial data to SXP Studio. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising or profiling.
Hand tracking and your surroundings
AfterCorp uses headset position and orientation, hand tracking, and environment depth to support hand interactions, calibrate your play area, reconstruct nearby surfaces and align gameplay with your room. Passthrough lets you see your surroundings where the in-game torch shines. Hand tracking and spatial-data permission are required for this experience.
This processing happens on the headset. AfterCorp does not upload your hand movements, headset tracking, room reconstruction or passthrough images. Room reconstruction and play-area calibration are held in memory during use, rather than saved in your profile.
The current release works offline and does not include advertising, analytics services or Meta achievement synchronization.
Saved progress and backups
AfterCorp saves game progress, unlocks and preferences on your device for the next time you play. This save file contains no room geometry, spatial coordinates or hand-tracking recordings.
The save file is eligible for platform-managed cloud backup and device transfer. If those services are enabled and available, the platform may back up or restore that file. SXP Studio does not operate that service or receive those backups.
Your controls and data deletion
The Settings menu includes Reset Progress and Reset Play Area. You can remove local saved data by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. A platform backup may restore saved progress if you reinstall; manage cloud backups separately through Meta's controls.
You can manage app permissions in your headset settings. Revoking a required permission prevents the corresponding gameplay features from working.
Meta services
Meta operates its own headset, store, account, payment, backup and diagnostic services. Its processing is governed by your platform settings and Meta's supplemental privacy policy.
